REFLECTION

Experience
Overall, I think this was one of my favourite modules. It was more free and easy and we got to design things to our own liking. In this class, I picked up many new skills and learnt so many new things. One of the biggest things I learnt was coding, it was my first time doing it and I must say it is pretty confusing and frustrating at times. However, after seeing my website slowly but surely building up, the feeling was rather satisfying. Even though I enjoyed the course, there were many times I struggled to do my work, like when codes didn't work and my website had problems.

Observation
I observed from this course that codes should not be memorised but understood, it kind of works like maths as well. I also noticed that the sketch of a website is key and vital when creating a website, unfortunately I only learnt that after completing my assignment. I definitely wish I did a better job for my final project website, and by having a clearer and better sketch I definitely could've done better.

Findings
I find that websites really require a lot of creativity and a design thinking mind. It also requires us to think outside of the box and from the users perspective. I find that having inspirations and looking at other people's work helps ideas to flow in in order to create a good website. I find my respect for people in the UI/UX industry has risen, as I myself now know that doing these type of work takes a lot of time and effort and it isn't easy.
