LECTURES
WEEK 14:
WEEK 14:
I finalised the low-fi prototype and proceeded to start with my high-fi
prototype. I changed all the colours of the buttons and also the texts.
WEEK 15:
Our duedate was extended to week 15, so this week we still had time to work on our high-fi prototype which was what I did. I added the pictures of the groceries into Figma. I also edited some advertisements/posters that were not in the Lotus's app itself. After I edited the rest of the small details I missed out, I was finally done and proceeded to film the walkthrough videos.

Experience
This part of the project went pretty smoothly since all of base has already been created from the low-fi prototype. It was quite fun to fill in the colours and seeing the low-fi prototype come to life and turn into a high-fi prototype. I had quite some fun creating the posters and advertisements for the app. For me, this was the most fun I had among all the other assignments. I also learnt a lot about how the choice of colours can bring so much life to an app.

Observation
Creating the high-fidelity prototype in Figma was a different experience
compared to the low-fidelity version. This time, I focused on adding
colors, and different design elements to bring the prototype to life. As I
worked on these details, I realized how much they influenced the overall
feel of the app. It was interesting to see how things like color choices
and button styles could make the design more engaging and intuitive. This
stage highlighted the importance of aesthetics and functionality working
together to create a polished user experience.
Findings
Creating the high-fidelity prototype taught me a lot about the balance
between looks and functionality. Even though the design looked better with
all the colors and details, I found new issues like animations being slow
and spacing being off. Fixing these details made the app easier to use and
nicer to look at. This process showed me that getting both the design and
the functionality right is key to making an app that people will enjoy
using.
