REFLECTION

Experience

Overall, this class was really really fun for me. There were many new things to me like the main softwares we used which were Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. I'll be honest here, I did struggle through a lot which this module however with the guidance and help from Mr. Martin, I learned a lot more and actually picked up a lot of new skills throughout the module. Lastly, I think this module was actually pretty fun as Mr. Martin always told us to play around, have fun and just be creative.

Observation

The first few tasks were honestly extremely challenging for me. There were so many new terms and tools to learn which made me progress very slow at first. However after getting used and more familiarised with the app, I slowly had lesser technical issues and things were moving slightly smoother. Of course there would be a few bumps here and there as I'm still not a master at this yet. Nevertheless, I did see much improvement in my assignments and will still improve day by day.

Findings

I now look at photoshopped art a different way, I start to appreciate it a lot more as I know how much time and effort is put into the design. Photoshop is not as easy as it seems. I also find that photoshop has lesser rules compared to other modules, photoshop is a place where you let your mind free and design. And like Mr. Martin said, we photoshop to try and hide the flaws and impurities.
