REFLECTION
Experience
If there was one thing that came to mind about this module, it would be that it was quite a struggle for me and I really wished I did better and tried harder. Compared to typography that I took in the first semester, this was way much more challenging! I was new to quite a lot of things, however it taught me lots of new skills. Despite struggling, I also enjoyed some tasks like the type & play one, it was interesting to see how different objects can create letters too. I also enjoyed making the font applications for my fonts, seeing my own creation put to use was satisfying. Overall, this module was fun yet tiring. I really thank Mr. Vinod for guiding me through the semester and giving very detailed and useful feedback that helped improve my work.

Observation
I observed that even though people say that "you can create what your heart desires when it comes to design", I think that there is actually a certain limit to that. In typography, there are actually many rules, for example the typographic systems as well as consistencies when creating a font. I also observe that typography is something that you really have to squeeze out your "brain juice" for. It isn't something that you can do with just surface level thinking which is something I really need to work on which is thinking more deeper and putting more meaning into my designs.

Findings
After this semester, I think about typography as a whole much more compared to when I finished my first semester. My knowledge about typography in semester one was rather shallow. Now my knowledge has grew much more, I take notice of things around me like layouts, books and of course fonts. For example, a font's consistency, how each stroke is made and also the details of it. I also find and really learnt from experience that sometimes less is more, simple is better. Complicating things and tryin to be TOO unique could sometimes back fire.
